PPG Industries, Inc. in Strongsville, OH is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift to drive safety, quality, delivery and productivity by leading the hourly workforce and ensuring adherence to standardized work.

You will report to the Production Manager and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet plant metrics. The role emphasizes safety, process discipline, and continuous improvement, with responsibilities including shift meetings, work prioritization, and data-driven problem

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years' experience in production with supervisory/management exposure in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP systems, Oracle preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily shift meetings focusing on safety hazard recognition and safety tips.
• Assign and prioritize work to hourly workforce.
• Maintain the safety program and foster a 'Safety First' culture.
• Manage production progress, including workflow optimization, staffing, and resource allocation; implement cost-saving measures to meet plant metrics.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and EHS to solve problems.
• Utilize data to identify solutions and recommend actions.
• Foster workforce engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.
