Job summary

PPG is seeking a Quality Control Technician - 3rd Shift for our Liquid Production Plant in Cleveland, OH. You will receive samples from production, perform testing per customer specs, document data, and approve or reject products based on results. This onsite role reports to a Quality Supervisor.

The position is a weekday night shift, four 10-hour shifts from 7PM-5:30AM, Monday through Friday, with one weeknight off. Competitive benefits and shift differential are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of experience.
• Data entry, basic math and reading, and basic computer skills.
• Experience with Oracle is a plus.
• Experience with ISO 9001 is helpful.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs, sit, stand, bend, twist, kneel.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing to evaluate the quality of in-process materials and finished goods.
• Compile, interpret, and document data from the testing process to confirm compliance with established quality standards.
• Keep basic laboratory housekeeping.
• May be responsible for establishing specifications and writing standard operating procedures.
