Contract Professionals, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead third-shift operations for a metal finishing manufacturer in Grand Rapids, MI. The role is hands-on, requires coaching employees, resolving issues, and ensuring safety and quality while meeting deadlines.

You will supervise staff on 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, coordinate priorities, document shift activity, and support ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least two years of team lead or supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues and identify root causes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic math skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supervise third-shift production employees, assign work, and coordinate staffing to meet production goals.
• Train and develop team members, including onboarding and cross-training.
• Monitor performance, address attendance and conduct per policies.
• Oversee material movement, inventory, and production area organization.
• Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with shifts to meet customer requirements.
• Support ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 compliance, including internal audits.
• Complete shift reports and safety documentation; enforce PPE and house rules.
