Job summary

Miller Manufacturing is seeking a Production Worker to join our 3rd shift team. You will perform production, assembly and packaging of quality products according to our specifications, following Standard Work Instructions and assisting with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities include inspecting materials and finished goods, maintaining accurate inventory, tracking productivity, logging hours, and keeping equipment and work spaces clean. Prior factory experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read instruments such as gauges and indicators on equipment.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Strong communication with co-workers and management.
• Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions with good judgment.
• Ability to recognize scope of authority and make sound decisions.
• Depth perception and color vision needed for job tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform production, assembly and packaging of quality products.
• Inspect materials and finished products, raising concerns to leadership or quality teams.
• Maintain accurate inventory through proper counting and record keeping.
• Use hour-by-hour tracking to monitor productivity across shifts.
• Record all hours worked to the correct manufacturing orders or job codes.
• Maintain equipment and report deficiencies; keep work areas neat and organized.
