Job summary

Miller’s Textile Services in Wapakoneta, OH is actively hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift (4-10s, Mon-Thu, 6:30 pm–5:00 am). The role covers maintenance of production equipment and facility systems, with opportunities to contribute to efficiency improvements on the line.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Technical school/trade school certification a plus, related college degree a bonus.
• Must have minimum of 3 years related work experience.
• Must have ability to diagnose and troubleshoot production equipment.
• Must be able to climb, kneel, crouch, stand, walk, and use hands and fingers in order to work on equipment.
• Must have working knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Welding experience preferred.
• Must have good communication and people skills.
• Must be detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task and work independently.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Must be able to pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Routine maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment
• Preventive maintenance and cleaning of production equipment
• Ensure that maintenance checklists and logs are completed accurately and timely
• Ensure that building and grounds are maintained
• Assists outside contractors with equipment installs/repairs as necessary
• Works with production team to improve production efficiencies
• Other related duties as assigned to support the Maintenance and Production teams
