Job summary

Steel and Pipe Supply is seeking a Processing Specialist for the 3rd shift at the Kansas City Service Center in New Century, KS. You will receive steel, bend or cut it with lasers or saws, then clean, inspect, and load parts for shipment.

Starting pay is $23.50/hr with a $3.50 shift differential, plus quarterly profit sharing and annual bonuses. The role is on-site, full-time, with overtime opportunities and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• High School or better.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic literacy for reading instructions and using hand tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Micrometers and tape measures accuracy.
• Hand tools knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Receive material (steel) and turn it into parts by bending or cutting with lasers and/or saws.
• Clean, inspect, and load parts onto trucks for shipment.
• Follow all safety policies and safe work practices.
• Work 3rd shift from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., Monday–Friday.
