Steel and Pipe Supply is seeking a Processing Specialist for the 2nd shift at our Kansas City Service Center. You will receive steel material, bend or cut it with lasers or saws to create parts for customers, then clean and inspect before loading onto trucks for shipping.

The role involves exposure to the elements, standing and lifting up to 51 lbs, and a pay structure starting at $20.00/hour plus a $3.50 shift differential, with opportunities for bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Comfort with reading instructions and manual tools.
• Ability to use measurement tools like micrometers and tape measures.

Responsibilities

• Process material into parts by bending or cutting with lasers or saws, then clean, inspect and load onto trucks for shipment.
• Support safety policies and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
