Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in an Engineering, technical, or related field.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Ability to communicate difficult issues with others.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to learn new software platforms, as needed.
• Must be available to work overtime.
• Demonstrated advanced troubleshooting skills and mechanical/electrical aptitude.
• Intense personal commitment to continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.
• Knowledge of statistics and data analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and adjust equipment controls and/or process controls; identify root causes and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Maintain records of downtime events with detail.
• Lead or co-lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain documentation, SOPs, and preventive maintenance strategies.
• Track metrics and use data to propose improvements.
• Support engineering staff in developing new processes and products for manufacturing.
• Collaborate with internal groups and vendors to troubleshoot equipment.
• Mentor and develop hourly Technicians.
