Job summary

Hood Container Corporation in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Pre-Production Coordinator for the 3rd shift to operate and maintain double-backing machinery, monitor performance, and troubleshoot issues to ensure high-quality output.

You'll collaborate with quality control and maintenance, follow safety protocols, and handle setup for printers and die cutters, with overtime as needed and the 3:00 PM–11:00 PM schedule.

Qualifications

• Possess reading and writing skills.
• Must be able to read a ruler.
• Effectively communicate instructions.
• Must qualify for forklift license for man lift.
• Must be comfortable with heights of up to 25 feet.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Information: read and understand customer order for location of materials. Use function checklist for plates, dies and inks to observe any problems and repair them.
• Assist with set-up for printers and die cutters
• Promptly report problems, concerns or out-of-standard conditions to the supervisor.
• Assist with all Productivity Improvement Projects.
• Working at heights up to 25 feet is required
