Job summary

KENT Consumer Brands Americas, LLC, a member of the KENT WORLDWIDE family, is seeking a 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician for our Bolingbrook, IL facility. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment, with emphasis on electrical systems and PLCs, to ensure optimal uptime and safety.

The role requires a strong electrical background and the ability to read schematics and blueprints, with hands-on maintenance across mechanical and fabrication areas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience or mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, plumbing, machining and fabrication/welding systems.
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining production and packaging equipment in manufacturing.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Strong math, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Reliable, safety minded and GMP compliant.
• Able to work flexible schedules including overtime, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely install, repair, troubleshoot and maintain production equipment, PLCs and control systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventive maintenance and support equipment improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Document maintenance activities, audits, inspections and compliance.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures and participate in audits and inspections.
• Develop and improve maintenance procedures, schedules, and best practices.
• Provide training and support to maintenance team members and support external agency audits.
