Job summary

Molex is seeking a 3rd Shift Supervisor to lead plating operations and foster a safe, quality-focused manufacturing environment. You will coach team members, coordinate daily workflow, monitor process performance, and support continuous improvement using Principle Based Management.

The role requires supervising on the 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday 11:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.) and maintaining production records, timekeeping, and SOPs. A strong emphasis on safety, quality, and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing, production, or operations environment.
• Experience leading, coaching, or directing others.
• Experience supporting safety, quality, production, or delivery expectations in manufacturing.
• Experience using written procedures, work instructions, production records, or manufacturing systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively with production employees, support teams, and leadership.
• Ability to work 3rd shift on the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily plating operations on 3rd shift while reinforcing safety, quality, delivery, and productivity expectations.
• Coach, develop, and support team members by understanding strengths, interests, and development opportunities.
• Monitor equipment and process performance and partner with maintenance, quality, and production teams to resolve concerns.
• Coordinate daily workflow with production management to meet delivery expectations.
• Maintain production records, attendance information, and other required documentation.
• Ensure Kronos timecards are completed accurately and on time.
• Develop and train employees on SOPs and work instructions; update as needed.
• Communicate regularly with the team and provide updates to leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying waste, improving flow, and supporting sustainable process improvements.
• Lead 6S efforts with emphasis on sustainability and team ownership.
• Adhere to Molex Quality and Environmental systems and company policies.
