Job summary

Currier in California is seeking a skilled shift supervisor to manage assigned shift(s) and meet objectives. You will oversee molding processes, communicate daily production status, and drive corrective actions to maintain quality and efficiency.

The role emphasizes lean practices, GMP, and the development of a highly engaged, capable team through training, scheduling, and leadership meetings. Previous manufacturing leadership experience is required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred in management and 3+ years in manufacturing.
• Six years of successful experience in similar positions will be considered.
• Thorough understanding of mold construction, plastics processing, materials, assembly, SPC, and computers.
• Promote the Continuous Improvement Process using lean, GMP and advanced scientific molding technologies

Responsibilities

• Manage the assigned shift(s) to meet and exceed objectives.
• Communicate daily updates on equipment and production status.
• Advise appropriate personnel for correction of manufacturing issues through problem solving.
• Oversee corrective actions related to molding processes from customer complaints or systemic issues.
• Oversee and review production standards for the shift and follow leader standard work.
• Implement issued production scheduling, staffing, and machine maintenance.
• Attend operations leadership meetings and lead shift meetings.
