The position requires standing at a workstation, lifting up to 25 lbs, and the ability to work in a warm environment. This is a hands-on role focusing on quick learning and teamwork within a fast-paced plant setting.

Qualifications

• Perform manufacturing, rework, and inspection operations necessary to produce an acceptable product.
• Remain at the workstation unless relieved by an authorized employee or unless assigned job requires the employee to move between workstations.
• Familiarize self with all information posted at the job station pertaining to part quality, packaging requirements, method of operations, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Loading inserts properly if required & trim flash and snip gates properly.
• Print, Assemble, Sort, Drill, or Gauge parts as required.
• Maintain standard cycles & watch and report for water or oil leaks.
• Watch and report any safety malfunctions, such as, drop bar failure, drill press guards, etc.
• Pass on information and instructions to the relieving operator.
• Perform any inspector functions at the job station as instructed and perform any packaging and labeling functions as instructed.
