Job summary

RTP Company in Winona, MN is seeking a Machine Operator to set up and run thermoplastic extrusion equipment, blending and packaging materials for our customer products. The role supports ISO standards and requires careful monitoring of strands for continuity.

You will work on the 3rd shift (11pm–7am) with overtime and rotating weekends; training occurs on the 1st shift. Candidates must read manuals, follow procedures, and maintain accurate production records.

Qualifications

• Preferred high school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Preferred previous manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start, and operate machinery to mix, extrude, discharge, or handle materials according to operating procedures.
• Weigh ingredients to meet specifications and insert into machinery or ensure correct ingredients are delivered to the work area.
• Monitor production and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Troubleshoot equipment and processing issues.
• Document work completed including logs and data reports.
