Sun Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in New Brunswick, NJ seeks an experienced Manufacturing Team Lead for the 3rd shift. This hands-on role guides Operators, troubleshoots equipment, and ensures compliant production in a fast-paced, cGMP environment.

You will operate essential manufacturing lines, perform setup and changeovers, review production records, and maintain strict safety and quality standards while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Forklift certification or related equipment certification.
• Minimum five (5) years of manufacturing or production experience in a pharmaceutical environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Solid knowledge of cGMP regulations and pharmaceutical manufacturing requirements.
• Working knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and procedures.
• Experience with SAP and basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment used throughout the primary manufacturing process including Glatt Fluid Bed Processors, granulation, blending, tablet compression, coating, imprinting, banding and encapsulation equipment.
• Perform machine setup, changeovers, cleaning, and operational adjustments as required.
• Conduct line clearances to ensure readiness for production activities.
• Review Batch Production Records (BPRs) for completeness and accuracy.
• Complete SAP transactions and postings after batch completion.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues and make adjustments to maintain production specifications and maximize efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and complete manufacturing documentation accurately and timely.
• Maintain compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and OSHA requirements.
• Train, coach, and support Manufacturing Operators; mentor team members and lead when supervisors are unavailable.
