Sun Pharma in New Jersey seeks a 3rd shift Manufacturing Team Lead to guide Manufacturing Operators and actively perform production activities in a fast-paced cGMP setting. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, equipment operation, and adherence to quality standards.

You will mentor the team, troubleshoot process issues, and ensure safety. The base pay range and incentives reflect market norms for a senior manufacturing position in pharma.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of manufacturing or production experience in a pharmaceutical environment.
• Solid knowledge of cGMP regulations and pharmaceutical manufacturing requirements.
• Forklift certification or related material-handling equipment certification.
• Excellent mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Basic English proficiency (CEFR A2 or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment across primary manufacturing processes, including Glatt Fluid Bed, granulation, blending and compression lines.
• Perform machine setup, changeovers, cleaning, and process adjustments as required.
• Conduct line clearances and review Batch Production Records for completeness and accuracy.
• Complete SAP transactions and postings after batch completion.
• Troubleshoot equipment/process issues and implement adjustments to meet specs and improve efficiency.
• Train and coach Manufacturing Operators; act as SME for processes and equipment.
