Job summary

Aspire Bakeries in Alsip, IL is seeking a Palletizer for the third shift to stack and build pallets of finished Par Bake products. You will monitor weights and verify lot codes, recording quantities for each pallet.

During Thaw & Serve production you will hand pack, apply labels, and palletize cases, ensuring proper wrapping and labeling. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and a willingness to support food-safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in the food industry preferred.
• One year related experience and/or training.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Stack and build pallets containing finished Par Bake product.
• Monitor weight of finished product cases and verify correct lot codes.
• Record accurate number of cases and lot codes on pallets.
• During Thaw & Serve production, hand pack, apply labels, and palletize cases.
• Properly wrap and label pallets.
• Inspect finished product cases for anomalies.
• Follow safety, quality, and legality regulations.
• Maintain effective working relationships and rotate with the case packer.
• May take on additional responsibilities as needed.
