Job summary

Aspire Bakeries is seeking a General Labor, Packing team member for our Alsip, IL bakery. You’ll pack baked products per case counts and quality specs, support line flow, and maintain a clean, food-safe production area.

The role operates on the 3rd shift, 7:45PM–6:15AM, Monday–Thursday with Friday overtime. Earn $18.00–$19.00 per hour and join a culture focused on care, ownership, and growth.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions.
• Ability to lift 20–30 lbs as needed.
• One year of related experience or training (preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

• Pack products consistently according to quality, case count, and customer specifications.
• Monitor and communicate product quality issues to leads and operators.
• Support production flow by placing filled containers on the conveyor or into cases for further processing.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food‑safe work area in compliance with GMPs.
• Follow production instructions to ensure accuracy, consistency, and food safety.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production goals.
• Contribute to a safe environment by reporting potential contamination or hazards.

About the Role

We are seeking a General Labor, Packing team member to join our Alsip, IL bakery. As a General Labor, Packing, you will be accountable for packing baked products according to case counts and quality specifications while maintaining food‑safety standards, supporting line flow, and contributing to a clean, safe, and collaborative production environment.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 3rd
• Hours: 7:45PM – 6:15AM
• Days: Monday- Thursday, Friday overtime

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $18.00 – $19.00
