Job summary

Asp ire Bakeries is seeking a Palletizer to ensure pallets of Par Bake products meet company specifications and quality standards. You will stack, label, inspect and wrap pallets, while maintaining weight accuracy and proper lot coding. The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and teamwork on the production floor.

The position requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds and prior food-industry experience is preferred. Shift is 3rd with hourly rate $19.00-$20.00.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in the food industry preferred.
• One year related experience and/or training.
• Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Stack and build pallets containing finished Par Bake product.
• Monitor weight and verify proper lot code on cases.
• Record accurate number of cases and lot codes on pallets.
• Prepare cases during Thaw & Serve production; hand pack and label; palletize per configuration.
• Wrap and label pallets correctly.
• Inspect finished product cases for anomalies.
• Follow food safety, quality and legality rules.

Responsibilities:

As a Palletizer, you will ensure that our products meet company specifications and adhere to safety, legality, and quality standards. You will be responsible for stacking and building pallets, monitoring product weight and lot codes, and performing inspections for anomalies.

• Stack and build pallets that contain finished Par Bake product.
• Monitor appropriate weight of finished product cases and verifies proper lot code.
• Must record accurate number of cases and lot codes on pallets containing finished product.
• During Thaw & Serve production, Palletizer hand prepares cases and applies labels, hand packs. Palletizes cases according to proper configuration.
• Must properly wrap and label pallets.
• Perform inspection of finished product cases for possible anomalies.
• Follows rules and regulations to ensure food safety, quality, and legality.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships.
• Rotate positions with the case packer.
• May be required to take on additional responsibilities or roles based on the needs of the plant.
