Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America is hiring for a Stacker/Feeder at our Chicago Sheet plant in Bedford Park, IL. You will work as part of a team to support manufacturing, aiming to increase productivity while minimizing downtime and waste.

The role requires following safety rules, 5S standards, and assisting all plant floor activities. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and the ability to work overtime and weekends on a 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to support the plant operation and increase productivity.
• Assist all jobs on the plant floor and follow 5S standards.
• Maintain shop equipment and observe safety rules, including lock-out/tag-out.
• Stack parts and perform duties as assigned, potentially lifting up to 30 lbs for up to 12 hours.
