Job summary

JobSquad Solutions Team is seeking Temporary 3rd Shift Packaging Machine Operators to work in the Melrose Park, IL area. Pay is $19.00 per hour, with a schedule of 10:00pm-6:00am, Monday-Friday. This is a temporary/contract position (not permanent direct hire).

Suitable candidates will have experience operating packaging and production machines and be able to setup, troubleshoot, and monitor equipment to ensure efficient operation and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with operating and maintaining packaging & production machines and ensuring the entire production line is running efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Setup machines and conduct basic troubleshooting.
• Load films and set machine settings and monitor performance to keep production running smoothly.
• Operate and maintain packaging and production machines.
• Monitor upstream/downstream equipment to ensure continuous operation.
• Follow the packaging schedule, quality control, and sanitation procedures including weights, pack descriptions, and best-by dates.
• Cleanup and changeovers; ensure machine and work area are properly cleaned during and after runs.
• Report food safety and quality issues to supervisor and follow directives; support shift team as needed.

Follow packaging schedule, quality control and sanitation procedures concerning, weights, packs, descriptions, Best Buy dates, cleanup and changeovers Ability to clean machines and work area properly during and after production runs or changeovers Responsible for reporting all food safety and quality issues to supervisor Follow supervisor's directives and be able to support the shift team as needed.
