Job summary

Pures Food Specialties LLC is seeking a packaging operator for our Illinois facility. You will operate and monitor packaging machinery, set up and adjust equipment, read recipes, and ensure production runs safely and efficiently.

The role requires adherence to food safety policies, GMPs, and allergen controls. You will work a flexible schedule, possibly weekends and holidays, and contribute to a clean, organized, and compliant production area.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand recipes.
• Follow food safety policies, GMPs and allergen controls.
• Willing to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment to monitor and control production.
• Set up, adjust and troubleshoot equipment according to the recipe.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shift.
• Report any food safety or quality issues to supervision.
• Follow supervisor directions and support the shift team as needed.
