Job summary

Pratt Industries, Inc. is seeking a 3rd Shift Machine Operator to safely operate production machines, set up and clean work areas, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and preferred packaging industry experience with at least 6 months in manufacturing.

You will follow GMPs, quality procedures, and safety rules while contributing to on-time production and product quality. OT is required and work schedule is full-time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Preferred experience in packaging industry.
• 6 months’ experience in some manufacturing operation.
• Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
• May be required to maintain a Lift Truck Operator License.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machines safely and follow Pratt Industries procedures.
• Improve setup times and reduce downtime on daily basis.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of work areas.
• Submit accurate Production Data, Machine Operational Status, Safety Data, Quality Data reports.
• Assist in training Assistant Machine Operators and cross-train on other machines.
