Job summary

Ventura Foods seeks a 2nd Shift Line Operator in Ontario, CA to safely transfer quality product on a fast-moving line. You will operate filling and packaging equipment and oversee other employees under supervision.

Responsibilities include setting up line, ensuring weight and coding accuracy, performing routine maintenance, and executing quality control checks while maintaining food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and strong hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to work with and lead others with good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Fill containers to customer specs (weight, codes, labels).
• Perform light maintenance (lubrication, cleaning, adjustments).
• Train line support on complete line functions.
• Set up line for production, document outputs and losses.
• Communicate and hand off shifts to the next operator.
• Maintain sanitation and complete sanitation tasks.
• Conduct quality control checks on lids, bags, wrapping, codes, and case inspections.
