Job summary

O'Neal Steel is seeking a Machine Operator (Non-Thermal) for the Waterloo, IA facility on the 3rd shift. The role involves setting up and operating non-thermal processing equipment (saws, shears, rollers, digi-benders) and reading blueprints to meet precise specs.

You will also handle various material-handling tools, measure with calipers and micrometers, and maintain safety standards while delivering quality output for internal and external customers. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate non-thermal processing equipment (saws, shears, press brakes, rollers, digi-benders).
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklift, overhead crane, stacker crane, side loader).
• Ability to read and interpret simple blueprints.
• Ability to use measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, micrometer).
• Ability to convert fractions to decimals and vice versa.
