Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA Inc. in Alamo, TN is seeking a Multi‑Craft Maintenance Technician (3rd shift) to join our manufacturing team.

You will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment, troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and ensure maximum equipment uptime in a safety‑conscious environment. Qualifications

Associate degree or trade certificate in engineering or maintenance.
5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment failures and implement corrective actions.

Responsibilities

Observe and follow safety rules including LOTO, OSHA, and EPA requirements.
Perform preventive, predictive, and routine maintenance on production machines.
Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs to minimize downtime.
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Troubleshoot motors, transformers, PLCs, VFDs, and related equipment.
Read blueprints and wiring diagrams; read schematics and technical manuals.
Run conduit and wire for machine installations.
Maintain PM program and document readings and observations.
