Job summary

Nippon Paint Automotive Americas is seeking a Milling Operator for the third shift to manage milling equipment and batch filling in the Milling plant. You will operate KD Dyno Mills, ECM Dyno Mills, NetzschTurbo Mills and related systems, ensuring accurate production and labeling per customer IDs.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and strong communication, with ability to work overtime and in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Training on off-shift schedules may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to communicate clearly in oral and written form.
• Ability to present information and respond to inquiries/complaints.
• Demonstrates courtesy, tact and respect in interactions.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs, batch tickets and process sheets.
• Adhere to safety policies.
• Operate mills, scales, tank mixers and bulk loading systems.
• Monitor mills, tanks and process parameters.
• Fill finished goods into containers with customer IDs and label accordingly.
• Operate forklift to move materials.
• Participate in improvement teams and propose ideas.
• Identify off-quality products and initiate corrective actions.
• Use SAP, MS Access and MS Office to complete milling orders.
• Maintain housekeeping in lab and production areas.
• Maintain testing equipment.
• Work in other Operations areas as needed.
• Move waste to the 90-day Storage Area and label containers per NB Coatings procedures.
