Job summary

The Wenger Group is seeking a Mill Technician I to join our production team in Pennsylvania. You will perform grain testing, manually add feed ingredients, and assist with inventory management and equipment maintenance.

You will follow safety policies and participate in housekeeping tasks to keep the mill running smoothly. Ideal candidates understand FSMA and SQF, possess basic math and computer skills, and can work weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• Understand and follow Food Safety Standards – FSMA and SQF
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs repeatedly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
• Ability to climb ladders and work in high places

Responsibilities

• Milling Operations
• Grain tester – DON testing, dockage, moisture, bushel weight and foreign material; truck probing
• Hand-adds: manual addition of feed ingredients and record medication/vitamin usage
• Understand ingredients interactions in milling/grinding processes
• Maintenance and housekeeping of the mill
• Administrative and other duties as assigned by Mill Manager/Supervisor
