Job summary

The Wenger Group in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Mill Technician I to join our grain and feed production team. You will perform grain testing, manual ingredient additions, and assist with equipment maintenance within safety and quality procedures.

You will gain exposure to inventory management, production procedures, and basic animal-nutrition concepts while supporting a safe, compliant workplace with potential weekend/overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must understand Food Safety Standards – FSMA and state regulations.
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to work independently or under supervision.
• Willingness to follow company policies and procedures.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate milling and grain testing tasks including moisture and dockage checks.
• Perform hand-adds and record medication/vitamin usage.
• Maintain inventory and housekeeping of the mill.
• Assist in equipment maintenance and basic mechanical tasks.
• Adhere to Laserfiche, Wenger System, and WEM procedures.
