Job summary

The Wenger Group is seeking a Mill Technician I for the 3rd shift to operate milling equipment, perform grain testing, and assist with inventory and maintenance. The role requires adherence to food safety standards and the ability to work independently or with a team.

You will use systems like Laserfiche and Wenger's internal software, supporting accurate record-keeping and efficient production. A positive attitude and basic math skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work independently or with supervision.
• Follow FSMA and SQF food safety standards and state regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 60–100 lbs and work in dusty/ confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Milling operations and grain testing (DON testing, dockage, moisture, bushel weight).
• Manual addition of feed ingredients and recording usage (hand-adds).
• Inventory management and bag inventories; keep equipment clean and maintained.
• Perform routine housekeeping and operate production-related equipment.
• Navigate and use Laserfiche, Wenger System and WEM as appropriate.
