Job summary

Greenville Metals is seeking a 3rd Shift Melt Shop Floor Lead to supervise daily melt shop operations and ensure safety, quality, and productivity. The role reports to the Operations Manager and requires coordinating staffing and work priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate will train staff, monitor performance, and provide feedback while maintaining accurate records and complying with company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-4 years’ experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience leading work teams, training employees, or coordinating production activities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily staffing assignments and workflow priorities.
• Train new and existing employees on safe work practices and SOPs.
• Provide coaching and real-time performance feedback.
• Monitor attendance, productivity, and adherence to work standards.
