Job summary

MOHR Talent is seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician for a 3rd shift role at a heavy industrial facility in Huger, SC. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, motors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems to keep production running.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in industrial maintenance, prefer experience in heavy manufacturing, and can read mechanical drawings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience in heavy manufacturing or similar industrial environments.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability.
• Hands-on experience with conveyors and power-transmission equipment.
• Experience with gearboxes, pumps, bearings, motors, chains, sprockets and couplings.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy industrial production equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical failures involving conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, motors, bearings, chains, sprockets, couplings.
• Repair and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including cylinders, valves, hoses, regulators, and actuators.
• Replace bearings, seals, shafts, rollers, wear components, and mechanical assemblies.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Tighten up and align rotating equipment and drive systems.
