Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Must be trained in humane handling of livestock per the Humane Slaughter Act.
• Operate hydraulic cutters.
• Keep work area clean and tidy during production.
• Recondition meat that touched an unsanitary surface.
• Visually inspect hog carcasses and trim bruised meat or contamination.
• Follow SOPs and JSAs; monitor HACCP CCPs.
• Act as key trainer for on-the-job training of new team members.
• Promote safety and alert supervisors to unsafe practices.
• Maintain company culture of respect and report policy violations.
