Job summary

Bimstore in Mitchell, SD is seeking a Material Handler for the 3rd shift (10 PM–6 AM, Sun–Thu). You will unload shipments, sort parts, and prep weekly Midwest shipments while keeping SAP-informed inventory up to date.

The role requires forklift operation, a valid driver’s license, English communication, and a detail-oriented, reliable team player who can handle multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a manufacturing environment; receiving exp is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Forklift-certified and able to operate material-handling equipment.
• English communication required; read and follow work orders and notes.
• Able to learn SAP to locate and track parts.
• Organized and able to juggle multiple tasks (unloading, sorting, inventory).
• Keeps documentation accurate and maintains a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Receive materials, review packing slips, and maintain records.
• Unload trucks, sort parts, and place materials on the welding line.
• Prepare and load weekly Midwest shipments; confirm shipping and delivery reports.
• Use SAP to locate, retrieve, and track inventory.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and notify Purchasing when replenishment is needed.
• Assist other Material Handlers as needed.
• Report issues to supervisor and follow safety policies.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
