Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Gaffney, SC is hiring for a 3rd shift machine operator who will ensure presses run smoothly and materials flow to customers. Base pay is $17 per hour plus a $0.75 shift differential, with weekly pay and benefits start day one.

You will handle forklift operations, support multiple presses, maintain safety and 5S standards, and collaborate with supervisors to adjust priorities. The role requires forklift certification, good attendance, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience and certified forklift license required.
• Excellent attendance and reliable work habits.
• Good communication and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Machine operator experience and ability to run molding presses.
• Leadership, organization, and prioritization in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Operate molding presses and supply materials to presses as needed.
• Transport finished skids and manage scrap changes promptly.
• Coordinate with shift supervisors on kanban boards and priorities.
• Maintain safety, 5S housekeeping, and report safety issues immediately.
• Assist in breaks, cover multiple presses, and support daily priorities.
