Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company in Rockford, IL is seeking a manufacturing teammate to set up, run, and maintain equipment for powder coating products. You will ensure safety, quality, and efficiency on the 3rd shift (10:00pm–6:30am) Sunday night through Friday morning.

Responsibilities include operating and maintaining automatic equipment, logging production data, and collaborating across departments to meet production orders.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• 1+ year of experience in manufacturing or distribution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, monitor, operate, and clean automatic and semi-automatic equipment.
• Perform assigned manufacturing tasks.
• Monitor raw materials and finished goods for quality.
• Comply with policies and standard operating procedures.
• Keep equipment logs, perform minor repairs, and report breakdowns.
• Maintain production records and reporting as required.
• Collaborate with other departments to complete production orders on time.
• Safely operate forklift truck, pallet jacks, and related equipment.
• Monitor and replenish inventory of parts and supplies.
• Provide technical support and training to team members.
• Contribute ideas to improve manufacturing procedures.
• Keep tools and workspace clean and organized daily.
