Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to set up, run, and maintain coating production equipment in our Statesville, NC facility. You will operate control systems, monitor materials, log production data, and ensure a safe, clean work area.

Weekend Day Shift details include Sundays and Fridays/Saturdays on a 6:00am-6:30pm schedule with a $0.75 per hour shift differential; bonus eligibility applies based on performance per company plans.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Preferred: 1+ year in manufacturing/distribution and experience monitoring machinery indicators.
• Preferred: 1+ year operating packaging equipment and material handling gear.

Responsibilities

• Operate paint-making control systems and equipment (HSDs, pumps, valves, robotics, filling machines) safely.
• Load and unload trucks with raw materials and finished goods.
• Monitor raw materials and finished goods for quality.
• Keep equipment logs, perform minor repairs, and report breakdowns promptly.
• Maintain production records and collaborate with other departments to meet orders.
