Job summary

Smithers-Oasis in Hudson, OH is hiring a Manufacturing Production Worker for the 3rd shift at our Temprecision International facility. This full-time, on-site role involves operating assigned machinery, assembling, packaging, inspecting for quality, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour with a $2.00 per hour shift differential, plus potential attendance bonuses, paid holidays, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years manufacturing experience.
• Tow motor experience preferred.
• Reliable with good attendance.
• Safety-conscious and able to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operates all assigned machinery following safe operating procedures.
• Assembles, fabricates and packages all products under supervision.
• Sorts, inspects, labels and marks products to ensure quality.
• Checks machinery daily for malfunctions and reports issues.
• Maintains high speed to meet daily production schedules.
• Removes scrap material from the work area.
• Completes records and reports as assigned.
• Maintains a clean and safe working area.
• May be assigned to other departments as needed.
• Supports continuous improvement activities and core values.
