Job summary

Smithers-Oasis is hiring a Manufacturing Production Worker for 1st shift (Stow Street) in Kent, OH. Start pay is $18.00/hour with overtime as needed. Typical shift runs Monday–Thursday, 6:30am–4:30pm.

Qualifications

• Prefer high school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Prefer minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Follows detailed instructions, shows initiative, and capably handles standard practices.

Responsibilities

• Operates machinery and follows safe operating procedures.
• Assembles, fabricates and packages products under supervision.
• Inspects, labels and marks products to meet quality standards.
• Maintains production pace to meet schedules.
• Keeps work areas clean and safe per procedures.
