Job summary

Howmet Aerospace in Barberton, OH is seeking an entry-level Inspector to safely operate production equipment and meet quality targets. Training will be provided for this full-time role, with opportunities for growth within a global manufacturing company.

The position runs 3:00 PM–11:00 PM. Pay is $23.03 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential, and benefits include medical, life, dental and vision plans, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Entry level candidates encouraged to apply.
• High School Diploma, GED, or 2 years of work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Follows all safety procedures
• Performs compliance checks and completes paperwork, documentation, and reports
• Visually inspects wheels for defects or malformations
• Ensures the quality of the parts that he/she produces - including the inspection of all dimensional requirements according to the control plan and overall appearance of the parts
• Completes required paperwork
• Participates in TPM activities
• Ensures that 5S requirements are met
• Assists in problem solving of identified problems in the department
