Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, Lafayette, GA, is seeking an Assembly Operator to build appliance components in a high-energy factory environment. You will follow standard work, use basic tools, and participate in quality checks to meet production goals.

Qualified candidates are legally eligible to work in the U.S., with at least one year of experience and the ability to pass background and drug screening. Overtime opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Minimum of one (1) year of work experience.
• 18 years of age or older (17 if a work-based learning high school student).
• Ability to meet background, drug screening, and physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and subassemblies according to documented standard work.
• Operate basic manufacturing equipment and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Perform repetitive production tasks while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
• Conduct basic visual inspections to ensure product conformance.
• Escalate safety, quality, or equipment concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain an organized and safe workstation.
