Moog Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Manufacturing Production Supervisor for 3rd shift to lead a 30-40 person machine shop team. You will drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost while partnering with the Manufacturing Manager on Value Stream improvements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years in manufacturing and at least 5 years of direct management experience, preferably in manufacturing. 2nd/3rd shift differential applies; relocation and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with 3–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing setting.
• At least 5 years of direct management experience; preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 30-40 employees in a machine shop setting.
• Develop Value Stream Improvement Plans with the Manufacturing Manager to achieve high impact results.
• Identify and measure short and long-term team goals aligned with organizational plans.
• Ensure efficient utilization of personnel and equipment to meet delivery commitments at minimum cost.
• Hire new employees and evaluate existing personnel for performance and development.
• Address employee relations issues promptly to mitigate challenges and improve outcomes.
• Oversee employee coaching, discipline, and performance feedback.
