Moog Inc is seeking a Machinist III for the 3rd shift in East Aurora, NY. The successful candidate will have at least 4 years of CNC Machinist experience and will perform set-ups and part production on CNC lathe machines.

Work Schedule: Onsite – Buffalo, NY

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer work instructions or training in English.
• Ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• At least 4 years of experience as a CNC Machinist, preferably on lathe and mill machines.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of G‑Code.
• Knowledge of Fanuc controls is a plus.
• Knowledge of B‑axis mill turns with main and sub spindle is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work under minimum supervision and help plan work and solve problems within the cell.
• Perform set‑ups and run parts on a CNC lathe with milling capabilities to close tolerances, provide fine finishes, and produce complex geometry.
• Be responsible for inspection of all work performed, set up or adjust gaging equipment, detect unusual conditions, deviant parts, and when needed recognize errors in blueprints and operation sheets.
• Interpret complex drawings, including GD&T blueprints, sketches and operation sheets.
