Job summary

Moog Inc is seeking a Machinist III for the 3rd shift in East Aurora, NY. The successful candidate will have at least 4 years of CNC Machinist experience and will perform set-ups and part production on CNC lathe machines.

Additional responsibilities include quality inspection and problem-solving within the team. The position offers a robust benefits package, including a competitive salary range of $32.00–$37.00 per hour, flexible paid time off, and professional skills development opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience as a CNC Machinist, preferably on lathe and mill machines.
• Ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of G-Code.

Responsibilities

• Work under minimum supervision and help plan work and solve problems within the cell.
• Perform set-ups and run parts on a CNC lathe with milling capabilities.
• Inspect all work performed and adjust gaging equipment as necessary.

Skills

CNC Machinist experience

Ability to understand work instructions

Mathematical skills

Knowledge of G-Code

Knowledge of Fanuc controls

Knowledge of B-axis mill turns

Education

High School diploma or GED
