Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems seeks a 3rd Shift General Manufacturing Manager 2 based in Linthicum, MD. You will supervise 20–25 represented employees, manage SAP/MES transactions, and drive process improvements to improve cost, quality, and schedule.

You'll lead cross-functional teams, oversee production planning, and ensure on-time delivery within budget while fostering continuous improvement and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years in PM, manufacturing engineering, or related field; Master’s with 6+ years.
• 12+ years in PM, manufacturing, or related discipline may substitute for degree.
• Experience leading people across large organizations.
• Experience with cost, schedule, project leadership, and process improvement.
• Experience acting as a liaison between multiple disciplines to solve complex problems.
• Experience troubleshooting and developing creative solutions to meet customer demands.
• Experience driving continuous improvement through mitigating risks and realizing opportunities.
• Current, active U.S. Government Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SAP.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

• Plan, direct, and oversee manufacturing operations to ensure efficient production, on-time delivery, and adherence to budgeted costs.
• Manage and provide leadership to manufacturing teams, including hiring, training, performance management, and employee development.
