Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Linthicum, MD is seeking a 3rd Shift General Manufacturing Manager 2 to lead manufacturing operations and supervise 20–25 represented employees in the PRFC Cell.

Responsibilities include directing production to meet on-time delivery and budget goals, developing talent, driving continuous improvement, and performing SAP/MES transactions. Clearance (SAP) and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years in Project/Program Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field; Master’s with 6+ years; or 12+ years in lieu of degree
• Experience leading people across large organizations
• Experience with cost, schedule, project leadership, and/or process improvement
• Experience acting as a liaison between multiple disciplines to solve complex problems
• Experience troubleshooting and developing creative solutions to meet customer demands
• Experience driving continuous improvement through mitigating risks and realizing opportunities
• Current, active U.S. Government Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SAP; U.S. citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Provide directions to employees using management guidelines and policies
• Plan, direct, and oversee manufacturing operations to ensure efficient production, on-time delivery, and adherence to budgeted costs
• Manage and provide leadership to manufacturing teams, including hiring, training, performance management, and employee development
