Job summary

RTX in Andover, MA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a 3rd shift position with a 12% shift premium. US citizenship and ability to obtain DoD clearance required.

You will develop the manufacturing process for 3D metal parts for radar and sensor programs, define materials, create CNC programs, and implement robust CAPA plans in collaboration with Operations and Engineering. Strong communication and team work are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of high-speed machining techniques and CNC capabilities.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into formal manufacturing process documentation.
• Support process improvements through data analysis and best practices.
• Design and improve manufacturing processes with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Perform process development on new product introductions with accelerated time to market.
• Optimize CNC programs and in-machine workholding.
• Validate NC programs using Vericut and Cimco Edit.
• Collaborate with Quality and Operations to apply Root Cause/Corrective Actions.
