Job summary

Briess Industries in Chilton, WI, is seeking a Production Operator for the 1st shift. You will operate brewing, evaporating, and drying equipment, weigh and mix ingredients, move product with forklifts, and complete records.

The starting wage is $25.50 per hour. Hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm with a Week on Week Off schedule: 72 hours in two weeks, paid for 84 hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate brewing, evaporating, or drying equipment
• Weigh, measure, mix, and pack food ingredients following specific formulas
• Operate forklifts to move product between warehouse and production areas
• Load/unload bulk products and transfer materials between facilities
• Take product samples and perform basic lab testing
• Complete production, inventory, receiving, and sanitation records
• Perform sanitation tasks and light maintenance
• Monitor equipment, troubleshoot issues, and make minor adjustments
• Follow work orders and standard operating procedures
• Participate in team meetings and support safety, quality, and GMP standards

What You’ll Do

As a Facility Operator, you’ll be part of several key areas of our manufacturing process:

• Operate brewing, evaporating, or drying equipment
• Weigh, measure, mix, and pack food ingredients following specific formulas
• Operate forklifts to move product between warehouse and production areas

Starting Wage:$25.50/hour

Hours: 8:00am to4:00pm Week on Week Off Schedule: Work 72 hours in a 2 week period, get paid for 84 hours (work 8 days, get 6 days off in a two week period).
