Job summary

TVS SCS NA in Waterloo, IA is looking for a Maintenance Technician to conduct daily inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, perform repairs, and document daily activities to ensure reliability.

The role requires safety awareness, the ability to work in a busy warehouse with forklift traffic, and cooperation with internal and external customers to plan and implement improvements and new installations.

Qualifications

• 2 years of technical school or equivalent training.
• Mig, stick welding, and fabrication experience.
• Electrical skills, including 3 Phase Electricity.
• Plumbing maintenance and carpentry experience.
• Lock out/Tag out procedure knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during production hours.
• Diagnose problems; replace or repair parts; test and adjust.
• Coordinate input from internal/external customers to better understand needs.
• Collaborate on safety and equipment improvements, and assist with new installations.
