Job summary

Teijin Automotive Technologies seeks Maintenance Technicians for the Huntington, IN plant to support 3rd shift operations. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical systems, generating and closing work orders, and implementing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

The role requires a journeyman’s card or at least five years of experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, plus a high school diploma or equivalent;

Qualifications

• Journeyman’s card or at least five years of experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
• Create and complete work orders using the maintenance system.
• Control downtime by performing routine preventative maintenance and sharing techniques and monitor compliance.
• Ensure ongoing operation of machinery and equipment through preventive maintenance.
• Follow all plant safety procedures without exception.
• Document time and materials on PM forms or work orders.
• Suggest modifications and improvements to PM.
• Support cost savings programs for the manufacturing site.
• Support housekeeping programs for the manufacturing site.
